Getting better and better! 🛼💃🏻💖✨😍🙌🏻 My first ‘authentic’ fall happened tonight–meaning it happened while I was skating. (The first one happened during a mini panic attack while I was immobile on the skate floor!) Someone collided into me and I fell on my butt. Again. I also slammed my back and shoulders into the floor. But, these are risks we skaters take. And, my husband is right– if I had been wearing my “booty shorts”, there likely would be no pain. But, since I didn’t have them on, I’m going to have a bruised left cheek. 🤣🙄 But, I’m not so easily defeated! I got up, left the floor, sat down at our table, took a short break, then got right back out and skated some more. Nothing keeps me down! If I can conquer my own mind, as I had to do a month or two ago, I can certainly get over this. Somebody just ran into me. No big deal. And it’ll keep happening. I would rather be run into than run into someone. I’d feel pretty guilty if I knocked someone else down. 😔
